Nude Look
As natural as possible and yet well styled - that is what defines the nude look.
As natural as possible and yet well styled – that is what defines the nude look.
The aim of this look is an even complexion and a natural appearance, achieved by using only skin-like, natural colours for the make-up. As a result, the wearer looks as if she is not wearing any make-up at all: it emphasises her natural beauty and covers small blemishes and unevenness – moles and freckles, however, remain visible.
Overall, make-up is used very sparingly and with restraint; eyeshadow and blush are used only to a limited extent, as are concealer and the like. Contouring is kept as natural as possible and highlights are applied delicately. Eyeliner, kohl and mascara are also preferably kept in brown and other organic colours, as is lipstick.
With the nude look, it is particularly important that the foundation matches the natural skin colour, to avoid a mask-like appearance and a harsh transition from the make-up on the face to the skin at the edge of the face.
The nude look combines perfectly with soap brows, as they also aim for a natural look. Thanks to the restrained make-up, this styling is ideal as a day make-up.
The nude look is characterised by the following features:
- Natural colours
- Restrained make-up
- A look as if you were hardly wearing any make-up
- Harmonious overall picture
