The Autumn Trend Colours Are Conquering the Catwalks
Bordeaux, cream or orange? These trend colours have been on everyone's lips since Fashion Week. We have summed them up for you.

Autumn is here: and with it the sun becomes milder and nature is surrounded by a warm shimmer. But the golden season does not only colour the leaves on the trees in shades of red and orange. At the start of autumn, the fashion industry also delights us with exciting new trend colours. Because twice a year the colour institute Pantone publishes its so-called “Fashion Color Report”. It contains the current trend colours, which then reappear on the Fashion Week catwalks. For this occasion, we have summed up the most beautiful colour trends of the season. And one thing up front: with these colours you can escape even the greyest winter day.

Whether London, New York, Paris or Milan: the strong mandarin red appeared at the current Fashion Week in almost every collection of top fashion labels. We love the shade in combination with a bright pink. If that is too colourful for you, individual key pieces look just as great. Besides accessories, bags and shoes, nails in mandarin red are also a real eye-catcher. The fresh coral red is the trend colour for autumn and also looks great on the lips and nails.

Trend colour Bordeaux:

A classic among the autumn colours is elegant Bordeaux. The deep shade of red goes fantastically with earthy colours, nude or rose, but can also be styled superbly with a rich coral tone. A pair of boots, a knitted jumper or a coat in this royal red are absolute must-haves. And they make you look forward to autumn.

The fashion world agrees: fiery orange and Amberglow are the trend colours of 2020. Back in spring, the fashion industry was already blown away by intense shades of orange. And on Instagram, too, refreshing orange is currently flooding the feeds of fashion bloggers. The trend colour is so popular that the so-called “Amberglow” also made its way onto the runways at the autumn/winter shows. The bright orange harmonises wonderfully with sand, beige and cream tones, but in combination with khaki and chocolate brown the vibrant colour also looks breathtakingly beautiful. Wearing the cheerful shades together with dark blue or black also creates cool contrasts.

Trend colour beige/cream:

For us, natural tones such as beige, cream or sand are among the “all-time favourites” and welcome in every season. That makes us all the happier that the neutral colours have taken the fashion world by storm. Max Mara, Burberry, Michael Kors or Prada – hardly any of the top fashion labels does without velvety beige or camel. The best thing about the subtle shades: they can be combined superbly with almost all colours. You get a poppy look in combination with orange or pink. If that is too colourful for you, wear the neutral shades either together with white or opt for a tone-on-tone outfit (that looks particularly exquisite!).
